Using the Glossary from the Recipe Edit Window


Sometimes you see terminology in a recipe ingredient in directions that you don’t recognize.  To quickly check definition and usage of the term, use the NYC Glossary of Terms and Tips as follows.


From the recipe edit window:


Select an ingredient in the recipe’s list of ingredients, or a word the recipe directions, then click Glossary (on the main menu)… Find Selected Word(s) In Glossary.




Select an ingredient or word and press Cntl-F (this is the quickest method).
