Change Default Categories Applied to New Cookbooks
When you create a new cookbook (File… New Cookbook… ), NYC starts the cookbook with a default set of categories. This set of categories is user-defineable, so if you want a different set of starting categories when you create a new cookbook, you can change the NYC defaults.
To modify the default categories that NYC applies to new cookbooks:
- Select Tools… Data Management… Categories…
- Press the Edit… button in the “Defaults for New Cookbooks” frame.
- Select default categories to delete and add your own using the edit categories window.
- Press Save to keep your changes.
