Avoiding New Categories When Importing Recipes
Importing other people’s categories when you import their cookbooks can confuse your cookbook categories. With NYC, you can avoid importing incoming categories if you don't want them.
To avoid importing
new categories:
1. Select Tools...
Options... Import/Export and uncheck "transfer new categories".
When this box is unchecked, NYC will assign incoming recipes to your existing categories,
but it won't add incoming categories as new categories to your receiving
cookbook.
