How to Handle Multi-Part Recipes

NYC allows you to use an ingredient header in your recipe ingredients to separate parts of a recipe, like icing, sauce, gravy, stuffing, etc.

The ingredient header is an ingredient description that has no qty or unit, and its description begins and ends with 5 dashes, like "-----ICING-----" or "-----SAUCE-----".
